Road work that is part of the Slurry Seal Program paused today due to weather delays.
Nearly 11 million square feet of paved roads throughout the City is in the process of receiving an upgrade. The areas include six residential neighborhoods. Slurry seal is a liquid mixture of oil, water, sand and cement that is thinly applied to the surface of roadways. The slurry seal allows drivers to enjoy smoother streets and helps with preserving paved roads.
Tomorrow, crews will be at the intersection at Falda Avenue from 182nd Street to 190th Street, so expect to see that area to be closed to vehicle traffic from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
