If you thought the cooler weather was here to stay, think again.
Parts of Los Angeles County experienced some scattered showers yesterday, but that will soon be replaced with a return to scorching temperatures.
Health officials are also warning beachgoers to avoid swimming near storm drains that spill into the ocean as bacteria is likely to be found in the runoff. The rain advisory includes all Los Angeles County beaches until Friday at 7 a.m.
Temperatures throughout Southern California are expected to hit triple digits in the next few days.
Temperatures were warm in Torrance today with a high of 76 degrees and an expected low of 64 degrees. Tomorrow we’ll see sunny skies as well, with the temperature hitting a high of 81 and a low of 65 degrees. And by Thursday expect sunny skies with a high of 82 and a low of 68 degrees.
