The next time you take a trip to Walmart you may notice the shopping experience to be quite different.

The retail giant announced plans to cut the number of products in its supercenters to make shopping easier. The Wall Street Journal reports that instead of selling six different sizes of the same brand, the stores will sell one or two.

The retailer, which has three locations in Torrance, already has cut back on about 2,500 products. But Walmart isn’t stopping there, they also plan to make the store more visually appealing by lowering the height of shelves near checkout areas.

With retail competition getting heated, Walmart hopes the changes will improve sales and traffic. It plans to invest between $1.2 and $1.5 billion in e-commerce this year as well. Walmart stocks have been at an all time low.
