A mother and her four daughters made a donation to Providence Little Company of Mary to help save lives.

Kori Clausen handed an $11,000 check to the hospital to provide heart screenings at three South Bay locations to those who might not be able to afford one.

Clausen lost her husband, Clint, to a heart condition. Clint Clausen didn’t undergo a screening to detect any cardiac issues. He was 44 years old when he died.

The money donated will fund 44 tests. Each test is usually around $250 dollars. Doctors recommend that most regular cardiovascular screenings begin at age 20.
