A Southern California lighting company is lending a helping hand to Habitat for Humanity ReStores.

Nora Lighting, a company from the City of Commerce, donated nearly 100 lighting fixtures to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles ReStores. Torrance and Bellflower’s ReStore shops received shipments of light fixtures.

The Torrance store, located at 18600 Crenshaw Blvd., is already sold out, but the Bellflower location still has some.

Habitat for Humanity Restores have more than 800 locations in the U.S. and Canada. They sell donated building materials, appliances and other home supplies to the general public at discounted prices.

Karen Moore, acquisitions manager for the ReStores says the generous donation will help fund building, rehabilitating and repairing homes throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Moore says the profits generated from the locations in Bellflower and Torrance help fund six to seven homes each year.

ReStores are open seven days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
