The annual Tournament of Roses Parade held in Pasadena is a tradition the City of Torrance has been a part of for decades.

And this year’s entry didn’t disappoint. The City of Torrance took home the coveted Princess Trophy prize for its Rose Parade creation. The Princess Trophy is awarded for the most beautiful float under 35 feet.

Torrance’s entry, titled “What a Purr-fectly Pawful Adventure,” was designed by Fiesta Parade Floats, which featured the recently retired Fire Chief William Racowschi as a rider.

Fiesta Parade Floats helped designed eight award-winning floats this year.
