Traffic is moving again after several major intersections faced delays over the weekend.

Cal Trans, AT&T, Southern California Edison along with our own Public Works crews were out fixing a blown transformer. Officials say the transformer blew out on Saturday and repairs have been in the works since then.

With signals out, traffic was heavy in the area near Crenshaw and Del Amo Boulevards, which were completely closed at times. Hawthorne and Lomita Boulevards were on a four-way flashing signal.

Torrance’s traffic division was also on scene this morning manually guiding traffic to ease the back-up. Stop signs were placed in order to help relieve traffic problems.
