An iconic kitchen appliance is getting a mini makeover.

The next generation of KitchenAid Stand Mixers will be getting downsized, a change that hasn’t been done since the 60s. The new model, called the Artisan Mini Stand Mixer will have a 3.5 quart bowl capacity, down from 4.5 quarts in the next-largest model. The stand mixer line-up also includes 5-, 6-, 7- and 8-quart models.

KitchenAid says the new model is lighter and 20 percent smaller than the 4.5 quart model, but that it is still perfect to mix those delicious ingredients for your treats. It will still be great for heavy-duty work and is compatible with other KitchenAid products.

While the style may change, the pricing won’t be. It’s expected to retail at about $400 dollars. The Artisan Mini Stand Mixer will be available beginning in June 2016.
