President Obama has ordered flags to be flown at half-staff in honor of former First Lady Nancy Reagan.
All U.S. flags at public buildings, military posts and naval stations should be flown at half-staff until she is laid to rest this Friday. Nancy Reagan will be buried during a private ceremony beside her late husband, former President Ronald Reagan, at his presidential library in Simi Valley.
The public will be able to pay their respects tomorrow and Thursday at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. A spokeswoman for the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation said in a statement, “Nancy Reagan served the people of the great nation with grace and humility.” Nancy Reagan, 94, passed away on Sunday.
The White House announced that First Lady Michelle Obama will attend the service.
