A State leader from the South Bay addresses the special needs community at Harbor Regional Center here in Torrance.

Parents, community members, and Harbor Regional Center staff all came together to host a meet and greet with Assemblyman David Hadley, who represents the South Bay, District 66.

Parents of children with learning disabilities thanked Hadley for supporting centers like HRC, an organization that provides quality services, support and information for people with developmental disabilities.

The event also celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Lanterman act, a State law that created the right to public services for the developmental disability communities.
