Thanks to the help of technology, Torrance Police were able to recover nearly $50,000 in electronics from a T-Mobile store in Torrance and arrested four suspects involved in the armed robbery.

A group of thieves walked into the T-Mobile store on Pacific Coast Highway near Anza Avenue on Sunday evening, allegedly stealing 45 phones and an iPad. Three of the suspects were armed with handguns.

Inside the store there were two employees, three customers and a baby. The suspects used trash bags to remove about 40 phones and an iPad before fleeing in an unknown car.

Luckily the stolen phones had trackers, which is how Torrance Police were able to determine their whereabouts. Police located the car with the four suspects in it, and after a brief pursuit, they were stopped at Crenshaw Boulevard and Carson Street and taken into custody. Police described the suspects as three male adults and one juvenile.

All of the stolen merchandise was recovered and no injuries were reported.
