Drivers should expect delays when traveling north bound on Madrona Avenue near Torrance Boulevard this week.

The Goldsworthy Groundwater Desalter expansion project, which kicked off earlier this year, plans to produce up to 80 percent of the potable water used locally in Torrance. The project includes installing four wells over the course of the next two years.

Some of that work means traffic will be impacted on Madrona Avenue going northbound between Torrance Boulevard and Spencer Avenue with two lanes closed between 9 a.m.  and 3 p.m. daily until the end of next week.
