An organic, spiced herbal tea is under a nationwide recall.

The Gold Emblem Abound-branded tea sold at CVS Pharmacy is being recalled because of potential salmonella contamination. An ingredient produced by the manufacturer’s raw material supplier tested positive for salmonella.

The company has no reports of any illnesses yet, but the recall is a precaution.

It is recommended that customers who have purchased this product to immediately return the item to CVS Pharmacy for a refund.

Salmonella is a microscopic organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections.
