The main structure is up and construction is moving along on an 18-acre retail lumberyard site.
Today, workers continued construction on the site of what will soon be a Ganahl Lumber retail store. The Anaheim-based company located at 2600 Del Amo Blvd, between Crenshaw Blvd and Maple Avenue, will bring nearly 160 workers to the area. They plan to build an 86,000-square-foot building supply store, a 40,500-square-foot lumber storage shed and a 12,700-square-foot lumber milling shed.
The project includes the construction and operation of a new lumberyard and building supply sales store that would also serve as a distribution center to the South Bay and surrounding area.
It will be the company’s first store in the South Bay.
