A local car company is going beyond just making cars.

Lexus, a luxury car division of Japanese automaker Toyota, announced today that it is rolling out another documentary series on its Lexus’ digital content channel. It’s called “It Got Better.”

The documentary shares inspirational stories that include racially diverse women and men, aged 20s to 70s, transgender and gays. It’s part of the “It Gets Better Project,” which asks people to take a pledge about respect and that everyone deserves to be who they want to be. It speaks up against hate and tolerance, while letting everyone know that it gets better. Since 2010, the project has used media to convey messages of hope.
