An incident at Exxon Mobil’s refinery is under investigation after a 300-ton crane collapsed.
Three workers suffered minor injuries Monday morning, when a crane moving debris fell down. 27 Torrance firefighters responded to the refinery to hose down flammable vapors. Battalion Chief Bob Millea, says there was no off site impact to the community. Within two hours, the incident was considered stable.
