This Saturday, locals had the chance to see what the Torrance Cultural Arts Center has to offer, first hand.

From action packed classes like martial arts, tap, and ceramics to name a few. It was a day full of activities all for free, as nearly two hundred people visited the Cultural Arts Center recently for its 4th Annual Open House. They offered classes and demonstrations for all ages. It’s also a chance for people to get familiar with the activities at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center. TAKE SOT A new dragon sword program that kicked off this year was also demonstrated in one of the classrooms. The center has classes year round and they run between 8 to twelve weeks. Anyone can register for the activities. It was a joint effort between the Community Services and General Services Departments, since they both host programs at the Cultural Arts Center.
