This may be the perfect time to fill-up at the pump and take a road trip.

Summer gas prices are at an all-time low and could dip even lower. AAA officials say that gas prices haven’t been this cheap since 2004 and the oversupply problem could be the reason we are seeing unusually low prices.

Nationwide, average gas prices dropped to $2.18 cents recently, while this time last summer a gallon of gas was about $2.75. AAA reports show that more than 30 percent of gas stations in the country are selling below the $ 2 mark.

Right here in Torrance, the lowest gas prices are at Costco on Lomita Boulevard at $2.37, and the Arco on Sepulveda, which is selling gas for $2.39 per gallon.
