A large City project is well under way here in Torrance.
For months, the Public Work Crews have been working to prep roads for the big slurry seal project, and this week they’ve already started to pour the seal on roads. Today and tomorrow, you can expect some road delays on Lomita Boulevard between Crenshaw and Hawthorne.
The program provides an ongoing preservation treatment to asphalt paved roadways throughout the City. Officials say that an average of 3 million square feet of residential streets in three to five neighborhoods are slurry sealed each year.
