You can now help the Torrance Historical Society and Museum help write history.

The group is looking for additional volunteers to assist with the Veterans’ Memorial Wall project. They’ve been working to put a face on each of the 145 military personnel honored on the wall. They need help in researching and placing the story of each of these heroes in the Museum archives. Officials say they are halfway there.

The Veterans Memorial Wall is located at the northwest corner of Torrance Boulevard and Maple Street. The names listed on the wall were all Torrance residents. The Memorial was completed in 2003, and stands 5 feet high and 12 feet in length.
