There has now been nearly $12,000 raised for Jespa Awomah, who came to America from Cameroon, Africa, to undergo burn treatments.
Funds are still needed for the holiday season, so he can buy new clothes and shoes. Thanks to the Plant-A-Seed organization, Children’s Burn Foundation and Torrance Memorial Medical Center Jespa has received surgeries and therapy for more than a year now.
He now attends high School and plans to transfer to El Segundo High School in the fall. Doctors hope that he will be able to finish rehabilitation with the funds raised.
