Authorities say that nearly 2 million pounds of ready-to-eat chicken products from National Steak and Poultry are being recalled.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced that some of the products appeared to be undercooked. This could lead to bacteria growth and severe health hazards for consumers.

There have been no reports of illnesses, but this recall is being called “Class 1”, which means it can cause major health consequences and even death. The products include boneless chicken breasts, chicken strips and other products. They were produced from Aug. 20 to Nov. 30. Full List of Recalls…
