Thanks to the South Bay Community, a teen from Cameroon, Africa who underwent reconstructive surgeries here in Torrance has a lot to look forward to.

There was a Go Fund Me page set up for Jespa Awomah who finished a year’s worth of treatment at Torrance Memorial Medical Center. The donations now will help him stay and pursue his education without having to travel back to Africa for a new visa. He also is on track to graduate high school on time.

Thanks to the Children’s Burn Foundation, Plant A Seed and Torrance Memorial Medical Center, Jespa has been able to get surgeries for his hand and arm, skin grafts, eye and nose reconstruction as well as hairline expanders.
