Despite sunny skies today, drivers still faced heavy impacts on the south end of the City due to the Crenshaw Boulevard Rehabilitation project.

Contractors spent the day repairing concrete curbs, gutters and curb ramps on the west side of Crenshaw Boulevard south of Pacific Coast Highway to the south City limits.

The southbound curb lane of Crenshaw Boulevard south of PCH will be closed on a 24-hour basis. Throughout the week, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. southbound Crenshaw south of PCH will be reduced from three lanes to one lane to perform tree removals. Work on the project is also expected to cause delays in the area this Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
