If you’re looking for a job, there is a new business that may be the perfect fit.

Ganahl Lumber is looking to hire for its new business location at 2600 Del Amo Blvd., between Crenshaw Boulevard and Maple Avenue. The company has been building its facility on an 18-acre site. When completed, it will have an 86,000-square-foot building supply store; a 40,500-square-foot lumber storage shed; and a 12,700-square-foot lumber milling shed.

The Anaheim-based company says they plan to bring 160 workers to the area. At the Torrance location, they’re looking to hire cashiers, sales clerks, customer service employees and more.

The project includes the construction and operation of a new lumberyard and building supply sales store that would also serve as a distribution center to the South Bay and surrounding area. Opening date is set for mid-April.
