Volunteer registration for one of the largest Earth Day efforts is now open.

You can head to the California State Parks Foundation to sign up for Earth Day Restoration and Clean up. They are still in need of volunteers to help out at 36 state park on Saturday, April 22.

Here in Torrance, you can also help out in the morning at the Madrona Marsh Preserve from 8:30 a.m. to noon. They will be planting natives and enhancing the beauty of the preserve. For more information you can call the nature center at (310) 782-3989
