Just one more day until someone could potentially be the lucky winner of one of the largest Powerball lottery jackpots ever.
With no winners reported in Saturday’s $349 million Powerball lottery jackpot, the drawing has jumped to an estimated $403 million. This would be the 10th largest Powerball drawing to date.
Powerball tickets cost $2 each, and the odds of winning any Powerball prize is 1 in 24.9, but the odds of winning the jackpot is 1 in more than 292 million. The game is played as players choose the first five numbers from a set of 1-69 and the Powerball from a set of 1-26.
Powerball is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The drawing will take place tomorrow at 8 p.m.
