A long-term project includes some new road closures you may want to look out for this week.

From today through this Saturday, contractors on the Crenshaw Rehabilitation Project will start asphalt grinding and paving operations from Skypark Drive to 235th Street. They also will be performing median work from Pacific Coast Highway to the south city limits.

Traffic impacts will include reduction of to one lane on a 24-hour basis from Skypark Drive to 235th Street. Southbound traffic also will be reduced to one lane. You can expect the closure of two lanes adjacent to the median Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. 3:30 p.m. for median work.

Construction will be ongoing through May.
