If you’re looking to stay busy this week, you may want to stop by the Torrance Library.

This week marks National Library Week and the City of Torrance is hoping locals get more involved with the six library locations in the City. At the recent City Council meeting, Mayor Patrick Furey proclaimed it National Library Week in the City of Torrance.

The vital public service offers summer reading programs, new avenues to do research, helping local students with homework while also having a wide array of ways to learn online. The Torrance Library is also teaming up with other South Bay libraries this month and in May by participating in the “Beach Cities Read.”

For more information on these events, head to Torrance Public Library on Facebook or see the Library’s calendar of events.
