Nathan’s Famous and Curtis brand hot dogs have issued a recall for more than 210,000 pounds of ready to eat beef franks.

There have been numerous complaints about metal materials found in the products. There have been no illnesses or injuries reported in connection to the recall.

The recall affects 14-ounce sealed film packages of Nathan’s Skinless 8 Beef Franks with a use-by date of Aug. 19, 2017 and 16-ounce sealed film packages of Curtis Beef Master Beef Franks with a use-by date of June 15, 2017.

The items were distributed nationwide and have the number 296 established number on the package.

The company is asking customers to throw away the products or return them to the point of purchase.
