If you’re a fan of yellow fin tuna, you may want to avoid eating it for a while. 

The Food and Drug Administration announced that it’s investigating the possible contamination of Hilo Fish Company yellow fin tuna due to a recall that the products may be contaminated with hepatitis A. Restaurants in Texas, Oklahoma and California may currently have potentially contaminated tuna.  The FDA continues to collect additional frozen tuna samples and are increasing its screening measures.

Hepatitis A is a contagious liver disease. Anyone who has not been vaccinated can be at risk of getting this virus.
