A recall has been issued for Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid models.

Nearly 1,400 model year 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid minivans are being recalled for diodes on the batteries malfunctioning. There is a risk of sudden deceleration, which increases the risk of a crash. The diodes are part of the control module.

Chrysler will upgrade the diodes for free. However, Chrysler hasn’t made comments about the problem yet, and there have been no reports of injuries or accidents related to this problem.

Owners can call the automaker at (800) 853-1403 for more information.
