According to a new report released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 100 million U.S. adults have diabetes or are prediabetic.

While the rate of new diabetes diagnoses remains steady, the disease continues to represent a growing health concern. In 2015, diabetes was the seventh leading cause of death in the U.S.

CDC launched the National Diabetes Prevention Program to prevent or manage diabetes.
