You may end up spending more money to get a fresh Christmas tree this year.

The National Christmas Tree Association says that a tree shortage this year may cause higher prices for customers. You may be wondering why? Well, research shows that because of the economic recession 10 years ago, farmers limited their growing to save money. Christmas trees can take about ten years to reach their full height of 7 to 8 feet. The shortage could hike up prices as much as ten percent.
