The day for lovers is coming up and what better way to celebrate than with some tea.
Tickets are now on sale for “Tea at Two” hosted by the Torrance Historical Society at the Chado Tea Room.
This year’s annual event will include sampling a variety of Chado’s 10 freshly steeped loose leaf teas, tea sandwiches, freshly baked scones, assorted desserts and a chance to win some gifts. Each ticket is $30 dollars. Seating is limited.
All reservations must be made directly with the society.

The Torrance Historical Society Annual TEA AT TWO will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2 – 4PM at CHADO Tea Room at the intersection of Sartori and El Prado Avenues in Old Torrance, Ample street parking is available. Traditionally this tea hosts ladies and is an opportunity to learn about tea, enjoy an afternoon together and dress up for a traditional Afternoon Tea with friends. Reservations are a MUST and can be made beginning January 17, 2018 by calling the Torrance Historical Society at 310.328.5392. Checks must be received within two days of phone reservations to hold a spot for callers. Checks can be mailed directly to THS, 1345 Post Avenue, Torrance, CA 90501 attention TEA. No reservations for this tea can be made at CHADO. Please include your name, eMail and phone number plus the ladies who will be sitting at your table. The day of the tea you may arrive only beginning at 1:45PM for the 2PM tea . REMEMBER only those reserving and remitting payment with the Society may attend. We are handling all details at CHADO .
