Today, the City Clerk’s office was booked all day with appointments for candidates interested in running for Mayor, a council seat, City Clerk or Treasurer.

The City Clerk’s office hopes voters will ask questions and build voting skills by learning how to research political campaigns, who sends campaign brochures and where to get more information about candidates and issues.

Elections are set to take place on June 5th, 2018. Your vote will decide the direction the City will take in the next four to eight years.

As of January 2017, The City of Torrance has more than 83,000 registered voters.

The nomination period closes on March 9th, 2018 at 5 p.m. For information, go to TorranceVotes.org
