A tour of one of a kind historic planes will be making a special landing in Torrance.

The Collings Foundation Wings of Freedom Tour offers people a chance to relive history by flying on a B-17, B-24 and P-51. These aircrafts are World War II planes and the experiences help pay for the maintenance and operations. If you don’t want to fly, you can always stop by the Torrance airport to see these planes.

The Collings Foundation mission is to organize and support living history events and the presentation of historical artifacts and content that help Americans learn more about their heritage through direct participation. It’s a non-profit founded in 1979.

They will be at the Torrance airport from April 26th to April 29th. For more information, head to CollingsFoundation.org.
