The next time you grab some fruit from your kitchen, you might want to think twice.
More than 3,000 cartons of fresh peaches, nectarines and plums have been recalled nationwide due to listeria concerns. The recall started from a New York-based company and so far it has impacted six large retailers including Walmart and Costco. The United States Food and Drug Administration says it is happening in 18 states. In California, it is affecting nectarines sold at Costco. It has a 4-pound plastic clamshell with the brand Rio Duero and an EAN number 7804650090212
Consumers are asked to not eat the product but return it for a refund.
