There is only one more day left to submit your artwork in this one-of-a-kind competition.
5th through 12th graders can enter artwork to El Camino College’s 2019 Onizuka space Science Day Art Contest by tomorrow at 10 pm. The artwork must be inspired by the theme, “The Future of Space Travel.” All types of artwork are accepted including computer-generated images. This contest is part of a larger event on March 9th called Onizuka Space Science Day.
The event will feature a presentation from Astronaut Stanley Glen Love, who completed his first spaceflight in 2008. This year marks the 33rd anniversary of the Space Shuttle Challenger accident where astronaut Ellison Onizuka died along with six other crew members.
