The Art Gallery opened its latest exhibit today, called “What is it About Trees?”
The art exhibition focuses on the weighty nature of trees: objects of beauty, philosophical symbols and essential to life. 41 works from artists about trees is displayed with a broad range of media, including photography, drawing, sculpture, painting, printmaking, digital media, collage, and jewelry. There is also a mixed-media installation and performance/video are also part of the exhibit. Admission is free.
The gallery is located on campus Mondays and Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. then from Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
