A long time Torrance resident is remembered after her recent passing.
Mary Ann Bradford, one of Torrance’s oldest residents, passed away last week. She was 100 years old.
In 1935, Bradford graduated from Torrance High School. She married her classmate George Bradford in 1938, where they lived on Beech Avenue. Their children and three grandchildren were also Tartars.
On her 100th Birthday, Councilman Mike Griffiths recognized her birthday with a proclamation. Bradford’s husband was also a former Torrance Councilmember.
Bradford was cremated and her wishes were to not have a service.
