A place where you can explore authentic Japanese foods and products is now moving to “the Boulevard.”
The Del Amo Fashion Center will welcome a Mitsuwa Marketplace soon. Two building permits have been issued. City staff says the business in the process of building out its new space at the former Marshalls building at the mall.
Mitsuwa Marketplace will be relocating from their Western Avenue spot.
Plans are to refurbish the space with a modern design that has aluminum fins and metal panels along the exterior. There will be a new dining patio along the west side of the building for their food court customers.
Mitsuwa Marketplace is the largest Japanese supermarket in the United States, with everything from Japanese groceries to general items to electric appliances to cosmetics and much more.
