vclogo_headerThe Volunteer Center South Bay- Harbor – Long Beach is launching a program to help teens with phone use.

For high school sophomores, juniors and seniors, the Connecting In Real Life program will help teens who are struggling with screen time and wants a safe space to connect in real life. The application deadline is Friday, March 27th at 5 p.m. If you are selected, you will learn about the link between screen time and well-being, share experiences with other teens in real life and learn ways of coping when you are struggling.

It will be taught by a local, licensed mental health professional on Saturdays from April 11th through May 9th. The process will also include a quick phone interview.
