The Torrance Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who broke into a local pawn shop.

On Friday, August 15th at 10:30 a.m., the suspect broke an exterior display window at Big Store Pawn Shop located in downtown Torrance on Cabrillo Avenue and stole roughly $27,000 worth of jewelry. The suspect was seen wearing a “California All-Diamond” black T-shirt, dark pants and dark shoes. He’s between 5’9” and 6’ tall with a thin build. What was unusual about the robbery was that it happened during broad daylight.
